Parker Vector Calligraphy Pen Set Review

02:45

Hello everyone,

Welcome back, today in our pro tools for calligraphy section we are reviewing a beautiful calligraphy pen for beginners and for professional calligraphers.

It is Parker Vector Calligraphy Pen Set

This is really a good pen to start with. It is very beautifully built with highly strong fiber and metal.

The quality of nib is very good and made of high polished stainless steel that makes the ink flow really smooth, stable and continuous. Other than the normal fountain pens that we usually get in the market that lags in the ink flow, it is not the same experience with this pen.

It comes with 3 nibs of different sizes of
- 1 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm.

The body of the pen is highly polished and shining in nature with a metal tip at the top to hold the cap while writing. (Usually for the hands in which just the pen fits very small, it is recommended to place the cap at the top of the pen, to increase the pen size and more solidly hold the pen for writing.)

It comes with 2 blue ink cartridge, 2 black ink cartridge and 1 ink converter.
Ink converter is used to directly pull in the ink form the bottle and then use it as ink cartridge in the pen.

Ink Converter
Overall quality of the pen is really good, the pen can be used for quick calligraphy writing and for ongoing and travelling proposes. If you are beginner then must try out this pen.

Here is a video of my demo trail for the pen,

About the Parker ink.

I am not satisfied with the quality of the ink. It starts to blot really quickly on thin or low gsm papers like 60gsm and 70gsm. But if handled properly and carefully it can resist the ink.

My recommendation for the ink is Manuscript Fountain Pen Ink.

I will do a separate review about the ink in my further posts.

If you like the pen and want to try out, then I am providing the link from which I got my pen, click here: http://bit.ly/ParkerCalligraphyPen
